The JDN meeting in Eastern Mediterranean Region (#JDNleb14) has been a fruitful forum for discussions about many topics including the refugees as one of the priority topics of the region. Turkish Young Doctors’ Platform has participated actively and has developed many ideas for bilateral and multilateral projects in the region.

Interview: Working conditions of young doctors; Prof. Zlatko FRAS, M.D.Ph.D.

As Young Doctors’ Platform (Turkey) we have attended the forum about working conditions on 15th March 2014 which was hosted by Slovenian Junior Doctors. The workshop was affiliated by European Junior Doctors.

Slovenia is struggling with the fact of their unemployed junior doctors.

UEMS (Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes - European Union of Medical Specialists) Immediate Past President Prof. Zlatko FRAS is a Slovenian and held a keynote speech at the forum about postgraduate medical education. After a busy and tiring meeting, he was so kind to accept our interview request. We hope that you will find his answers inspiring.
